If you need more points for a reservation at either BLT or BCV 7+ months out, I can probably borrow (200 BLT for 449 max, 150 BCV for 350 max) to help complete the reservation (but will likely only borrow on one of the resorts to leave myself some points at the other).

$13/pt for either resort (or combined if you want a large pt reservation under 7 months)

50% due at reservation, remaining 50% due 75 days prior to arrival

Will accept paypal, money order, or certified check

Im a virgin renter, but as you can see Ive been a DIS member for 12 years. Ill give you my email, cell phone#, LinkedIn profile, and link to my bio on my companys web site so you know Im legit.

I will cobble together a rental agreement to spell things out. Ive never used DME or DDP, but will take care of these for you if you want them.

All of our points were fully paid for at purchase and all dues are paid in full at the beginning of the year (so no need to worry about Disney cancelling the reservation).

Were renting because we may have slightly overbought at this point (575 pts across 4 resorts) and were cruising the Fantasy this coming spring break and DW and DD want to vacation in the Caribbean next summer instead of going to WDW or DL.

Sorry, but it's against the DIS rules to check on availability outside of the 7 month window (your post kind of sounds like a non-BLT member wanting to see if you'll be able to switch at 7 months).

Sorry, but you're going to be out of luck anywhere DVC for that week at this late of a date. You're right in the heat of Food & Wine and a week before Halloween. If it's any consolation, I've gone 2-3 times that week (birthday) and it's an awesome time of the year. My guess is you should be looking for regular WDW rooms.

I would book BLT more than 7 months in advance of the trip to be safe. BLT is the newest (for a couple months until GF is live) and a lot of people really like the walk to MK - so it's very popular with BLT owners and there's usually a flood of non-BLT owners trying to switch to BLT at 7 months. There are smatterings still available after 7 months, but you're chancing it if you have a set time/season (especially if it's a popular time like F&W, xmas, spring/summer break).

At least that's my $.02.

Theme park view studio is only open for 2 nights that week (theme park goes pretty early at the 11 month window). Lake (123 points) and standard (107) studios are both available though.

240 is the correct point amount. And yes, I could swing that.

Do you have a preference on room setup? Regular (1st BR has a king, 2nd BR has queen and couch/foldout with only one door to the outside hallway), 2 queens in the 2nd BR (no couch/foldout, one door to the outside hallway), or lock-off (2nd BR is really a studio with queen + couch/foldout) with a 2nd door to the outside hallway).

Great! We would prefer 2nd bedroom with 2 queens. Lock off would be lowest on our list because we have young children and would prefer one door to the unit.

BLT is pretty well booked solid for that time period (too short of notice for an in demand resort like BLT). You're probably going to SSR or OKW if you want a 1BR for November.

We are DVC members (and just did the Fantasy Western this summer instead of WDW and LOVED it!) and we are looking into a large res. next August 2014 for a big family trip. The thing is, we need to use our 400 points towards the reservation and need either:

200 BLT points (or anywhere from 170 - 200 points)
or
130 BCV points (anywhere from 110 - 135 points)

to have enough points to book one of the the reservations we want.

A point transfer would be ideal, as the points can sit in our account and then we can make the reservation with all of our points.

Sorry, but I don't think a transfer will work well for me as part of the points I have are banked from this year and those won't work with a transfer for your Aug 2014 reservation.
