We planned this trip long after the reservations came open for our stay and I am really surprised how many I have been able to get in just the past couple of days, we arrive Friday. Places like CRT, 1900, Ohana and BOG. Just wanted to give some hope to those who were not able to get them the first day they opened.

I agree with you. It pays to continue to look right up to and even during a Disney vacation. People have changes to their plans all the time.

Thank you! This upcoming trip is the first one where I have had to make a lot of ADR changes and the lack of availability right now is frustrating. The trip isn't for another month so I'll keep my fingers crossed and keep checking daily!

Our last trip overlapped with free dining. Finding ADRs in advance was a total nightmare. Our trip next week? No stress, no hounding the site, no planning at 180 days (I think we booked around 80 days in advance?). We've booked everything we wanted, including some hard-to-get ADRs like afternoon tea at the GF, CRT, no problem booking a F! dinner. It's been so nice!

I suppose this would depend on what restaurant you plan to book the package and if basically having a guarantee to get into Fantasmic is important to you and your family. We personally have never done this package.
