Clomid crazy isn't a joke! How are you supposed to get pregnant if your husband is running away in horror:rotfl:

I'm taking my first dosage at 50mg and I guess something is working as I feel possessed the past couple days. I've never really had PMS hormonal issues but boy this makes up for it!

Am I the only one that has suffered this? I must be easily susceptible to medicine if I'm like this on 50mg. Maybe it's working it's magic! I can't imagine living with me at 200mg, heck I wouldn't even want to live with me:eek:

I guess the good news is that I can only take it a couple times because our window is so small with another tdy coming. Let's all hope for success.Or pray my husband can handle all this crazy:laughing:

I was on it several times, but I did not have any issues with it-but maybe I should ask DH!. I'm sure other people have. Hopefully you will not need it next month, but if you do maybe your body will not react so strongly b/c you will be used to it.

I read somewhere that you should take it at the exact same time the days you are taking it. It is supposed to work better that way, so that's what I did . Prayers for your success!

My sister is already a firecracker...God help us all--she has a dr appt next week and will be getting on it:rolleyes1

I took 200mg Clomid for almost a year and it made me crazy too. And then I didn't even get pregnant!:headache: stupid clomid...

Clomid did a real number on me. My poor DH deserves an award for what he had to put up with. I remember one time I was yelling at him, crying and apologizing all at the same time but I couldn't help it. Good luck!

Clomid also made me crazy! I've never had such a bad reaction to a drug. I was incredibly emotional!

I've heard some people have side effects from it. Here's to hoping it's successful quickly for y'all! I know you want kids, and I think you'll be a great mom!

CRAZY, CRAZY, CRAZY.....That's what it made me and I was on it for 9 months with no success. The end result will be a blessing though...keep at it. It's tough and get's tougher, but well worth it. Don't give up. :thumbsup2

Have you tried Femara? It is at least as effective as clomid with very few side effects. I've used both and much prefer Femara. Although when I used it, it hadn't officially been approved for use for ovulatin induction, so some REs were reuluctant to prescribe it. That was 3 years ago though, so I don't know if that's changed. Best of luck to you!

Yep, I was a little crazy on Clomid too. Fortunately I only had to take it for 3 months. Good luck!

The first time I took it in 2003 I got pregnant the first cycle and don't remember it making me crazy. I just took it again and was a CRAZY woman on it. I also didn't get pregnant until the 4th round this time so I don't know if it built up in my body or if I just reacted differently to it this time. I took 50mg every time. I will say it's worth it....but I was definitely crazy and was not sorry that my RE was going to move me on to injectables and IUI the next cycle (I guess that scared me into getting pregnant :rotfl:)

I call Clomid the Devil's Drug. :scared1: I took it for 2 cycles and cried for every minute I was on it. No reason at all. It just screwed with my mind and emotions. I told the dr. the only way I'd take it again was if he could 100% guarantee me a healthy baby in exactly 9 months. Obviously, the deal was off.

A friend of mine took it with a different reaction. She's a lawyer and weighed about 90 pounds. Tiny thing and usually very nice. She said she turned into a raging maniac. She had a hearing and told me it was all she could do to keep from climbing over the bench and choking the life out of the judge. :rotfl2: Sooooooo not like her. She stopped taking it too.

I went to an infertility conference and asked an RE about this side effect and she seemed clueless, as if my reaction was rare.....Until most of the women in the room chimed in and said it did a number on them.

My DS, 19 months old, is a clomid baby! It was my second try with clomid, I tried about 7 yrs ago, did 6 cycles, and went all the way up to 250mg! I really didn't notice any side effects untill I was on 200mg. IMO I didn't get to bad, but you would have to ask DH, LOL! With my DS I got pg on the first round, I took 100mg. We tried 3 cycles after DS turned a year old but it didn't work this time. We decided that we are done trying, my DH is 40 and I am going to be 37 next year so we are done for now. Next summer I want DH to have the big "V". I wouldn't mind a surprise pregnancy now, but I don't want to be 40+ and have one. Good Luck to you!!! Wishing you lots and lots of baby dust!

I was fine with it, but be warned, I got pregnant with my wonderful boy-girl twins with it:) and I was on a low dose, got pg within three or four months on it. Take care of yourself, eat right, put your feet up every once in a while. Best of luck to you!

I took it for 3 months and it was a nightmare! I was so incredibly emotional and had the most awful hot flashes. I know no one wanted to be around me because I didn't want to be around me! To make it worse, I gained 30 pounds in those 3 months and it didn't work! Best of luck to you! I hope it works its magic.

I had horrible side effects that lasted several years. I only took it for two months. We adopted. I wanted no part of any other meds. Hope everything goes well for you Tina, we need more little babies in our masses!!! You will be an incredible Mom no matter how you do it!!!
