Tree is up and decorated; living room is decorated (well - the mantel - LOL); all stocking stuffers purchased; all gifts wrapped..
All we have left to do is bake some cookies this weekend and it's clear sailing from that point on till Christmas Day..
How is everyone else doing?![]()
My "to do" list is getting shorter every day...not because I am getting it all done, but because I have to delete some of the things because I am running out of time. We leave for WDW tomorrow afternoon and come back December 23, so I was hoping to have it all done...not gonna happen. So far I have removed neighbor gifts and Christmas cards from the list!
What I absolute have to finish is decorating the tree, wrapping at least some presents, clean bathrooms, finish packing, and put boxes away. I really ought to be able to do that today, wouldn't you think?

such a difficult time, I can relate a little, my dad entered rehab health care for dementia and a multitude of things 6 days ago, taking DD in for heart tests today, we were to be arriving at the Dolphin tomorrow...so nothing accomplished here. Trip off, hospitals on, dad 4 states away, just got DD home from college to get these tests done..but as so many stories explain, Christmas is not about all the bows and decorations, so for those of us who may not get it all "done" this year...Christmas will still come.
I bought a gift for my daughter and a few things for my son. That's it. No decorations, no tree, no gift for hubby, etc.
Concentrating on the "reason for the season" helps immensely in that department.
because I'm all done with everything and just sitting back enjoy all the season's blessings.
