Cookies are being done this weekend.

4 more gifts to buy, then wrap - will be done this weekend.

Stocking stuffers - finish up DH and DS. DD is already done. Hope to have this done this weekend, if not I'll get it done on the 23rd.

arminnie - I am so sorry about your Dad.

I have pretty much everything done. The tree and mantle are decorated and most gifts are wrapped. All I need to do is prepare a dish to take to Christmas dinner at DD's and I can't do that till Christmas morning.

As much as I loved going to WDW (got back on Tuesday night) it put me waaay behind! As of 11:10 AM today, I am off for 2 weeks, so I have time to get everything done. The tree is up & the top 1/5th is decorated (I decorated the top in case my sisters wanted to do some tree-trimming while I was gone - nope, they didn't get the urge!) I will bake 3 different cookies next week. I have NOTHING bought for DH. No wrapping is done. Still a couple of things to purchase, but I know what I'm getting and where.

Some things are simply not going to get done this year. I have so many "I Love Lucy" ornaments that I ususally have a treet just for her. But not this year. No huge garland over the front door - didn't want to put it up too early, but don't feel like getting any now.

I did send out cards while in WDW. I brought computer-generated address labels (gasp! - a big no-no according to some!) & bought boxes of Disney Christmas cards. I even wrote a very short personal note in each card. Brought stamps and return labels with me too.

On another note, arminnie - hang in there. It's tough no matter when it happens, but seems really sad when it's around the holidays. I'll keep you and your Dad in my prayers.

The rest of you - get busy!

Not much left to do, a few stocking stuffers to purchance and 2 gift cards as well as house cleaning. Hubby and son are off to deer camp tonight through Monday afternoon so I have a good chance of the house staying clean Also this is the major holiday hubby is on call at work so we will be tied to the emergency phone from Tuesday through Monday. That puts a damper on the Christmas Spirit for us.

I/we have cut WAY back on the "stuff" . I put out about one quarter of the holiday decorations, did not send out Christmas Cards, the kids are older, so fewer gifts to buy, but they will get the difference in cash .

For those of you with "stuff" to do, I wish you lots of energy, plenty of rest and an abundance of patience.
