Clip on Fans for Strollers?

Dh and I are taking our DD to Charleston and the beach in a few weeks and I've been poking around looking for a good fan to clip on to DD's Stroller so that she won't get over heated.

Our preliminary research seems to find that most out there are ultra flimsy and somewhat dangerous. Seeing as half the reviews I have found mentioned taking the kids to Disney I figured this just might be the best place to ask.

Do you find them useful and if so is there a particular one you would recommend? Thanks in advance fellow DisMommies!!!!

We loved it when she was littler. We got so many compliments on it and people saying how great of an idea it was. We just tried to use it again last month, and now that she is 16 months old it doesn't work so well. She is fascinated by it and keeps grabbing at it and wanting to play with it. It's foam so it doesn't hurt her when she does it, but it makes it pointless to have on the stroller. Maybe if she were a little older and understood not to play with it, it might work again.

So, I guess it depends on how old you DD is.

We have 2 of these. Child can't get fingers in fan and the fan is powerful enough for a good breeze. We got ours for $2.00 during off season sale at Buy Buy Baby.

How are the edges on that one? It caught my eye on amazon but a few reviews said that it was cheaply made fell apart quick and the edges were sharp and cut them.

Just buy one with foam blades, such as the Dreambaby. It works fine.

I don't know what edges they are talking about but I found nothing sharp on it. The shell shaped clip could be designed better as it doesn't open up big enough to stay clipped on thick or round parts of the stroller. We clip ours on the sunshade of our stroller and never had it fall off.

We have these and the work great. No problems.
