I would like to say I am not a wuss... but I am when I first go on a ride that I have never been on before. I would normally try anything once but I have to REALLY build up my confidence!! :scared1:

I have watched videos of RRR but it doesnt really do it any justice but the climb and the drop look scary! Just wondered from someone who has had first hand experience, what it is actually like. :worship:

It looks as if the drop starts to curve quite high up at the bottom making the drop not actually the full length of the tower it is attached too but I just wanted to know what I should expect.

To me the straight-up climb is the worst part of the ride by far. The drop or anything else that follows is no big deal.

To be honest, I think the thought of the climb is what's scaring me. I dont think the drop looks too bad but the climb looks awful!!

I think the climb and first run is the best part of the ride. It's just different then anything else out there.

The climb was what scared me about the ride before I went on. I stood for 30 minutes or so just watching and then just marched on, thankfully it was a very short queue then.

The climb looks a bit daunting........but a lot of fun. 12-13 seconds then you`re at the top. The drop is good and very smooth........you don`t get that falling feeling and you feel very secure.....even on the front row :thumbsup2

Hope you enjoy it :)

The climb scared the life out of me. I went by myself and the guy who was seated with me looked over at me halfway up and said "what have we gotten ourselves into?"

That said it was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the ride!

It's the only big coaster I've not one there... Can't handle the idea of the climb.

I don't think it is any big deal. You are looking straight into the sky and really have no perspective of how high you are---and you really aren't very high. It also goes by very quickly. To me it is one of the more pleasant parts of the ride if you get the rough car.

Thanks for you comments everyone. I have to say, the rest of the ride I am looking forward too. I will just close my eyes and keep calm*
(*panic)

The vertical climb is what freaks most people out. It takes less than 20 seconds to get to the top, and you don't realize how high you are until you crest the very top and go into the immediate drop. Pick a fun song and hold on to the lapbar. Try to keep your eyes open, as the ride is taking video of you!

I forgot they recorded it...!!!! :rotfl2: I will have to try and be brave.

I am sure I will be fine... :sad2:
I bet its scary when you get to the top and see how high it is and then have no time to think about what is going to happen next :rotfl:
