Someone had asked me the other day to count the lights from the Turnpike to Route 192--sorry, can't recall who it was.
I haven't had time to drive all the way North for you, but we did count from Route 50 South to 192, and right now there are six lights, with another going in shortly.
Also, there are two Publix's on that route for a grocery stop. The one three miles south of Route 50 seems to be less crowded. There is also a Super Wal-Mart about ten miles South of Route 50. All those store will be on the left as you drive southbound.
