Hello, I will be traveling to Disney in december for my Daughter's bday. I plan on surprising her with a trip to clearwater aquarium, where she will become trainer for a day.My problem is getting there.

Last August we had booked a tour and I was really disappointed with it. I looked at towncars but got nothing under 360$ round trip. I don't want to rent a car either... I really don't know the area, we are from Montreal, Canada....not even sure the same conditions apply in regards to laws and everything. So I thought I would ask all the experts here.:disrocks:

Any suggestions .... this would really be a great birthday present for her.

Thank in advance to all ...

Yeah it sounds like you may not have many options then. Renting a car is by far the most economical way to do it. I would assume that with as many Canadian visitors that we have, the red tape to do so shouldnt be much of a problem. I can understand your reluctance to do so however.

I second the idea of renting a car. :thumbsup2 If you are hesitant because you're not sure how to get around, you should rent a car with a gps system. Alamo rents a very good portable one that I've used. Hertz and national have them installed in the car, you just have to specify when you make your reservation.

Hey, that's a neat idea! I may sound dumb, but I didn't know you could do that! I'd feel much better knowing where I'm going. So far all I found was a transportation shuttle at 50$ a person. I'm thinking the car will be cheaper!

Thanks !

Claudia

Get car, it is really easy to get to, we went for a day to Clearwater a few years ago, it really is eay! Go to the beach for an hour if you get the chance, we love it, lovely, lovely huge white beach.

We are from the UK and always rent a car - if you are staying at Disney you can pick up from the car care centre at MK. If you have an AP you get a dicount on car hire rates.

Just make sure you take the insurance you need.:santa:
