Clearwater, FL Restaurant Recommendations

I am going to WDW in March and we are going to head over to Clearwater one of the days we are there to go to a Phillies Spring Training game. Does anyone have any recommendations for a place for dinner? Looking for a sit down place that is fairly casual. I'm open to the type of food.

I've never been, but Cheddars is hugely popular and not far at all from where you will be. If you like mexican, Carmalitas is pretty good too.

I have actually been to a Cheddars in WV before...Love their food.

I'll have to take a look and see if their is a menu for the Mexican place online

A second for Frenchy's Rockaway on the Beach. Love that place! Cheddars is great, but its a chain, you can go there anywhere, but Frenchy's is a Clearwater icon.

They are my FAVORITE!

I put the original Frenchy's and Rockaway because those are the ones I most frequently went to, but there are 2 others now too!

Basically the same menus(since they are the same company), but they are on different parts of the beach.

I was going to mention Frenchys but I was under the impression she was looking for something right in the vicinity of the field. I've never heard of Cheddars until I moved down here. I never knew it was a chain either. Huh.

Where on Gulf to Bay is that? Sounds like somewhere I would want to check out. I still haven't made it over to Casa Tinas (?). One of these days I will.

I totally forgot my roommate use to go to Clearwater at lot when she lived in Tampa and I asked her what her thoughts were and without thinking twice she said Frenchy's!

Right on the corner of Gulf to Bay and Keene. It's really good, we go every time we visit. thinking about their lobster bisque makes me drool.

Hey there Phillies Fan!
We are doing the same thing! We are actually going to Clearwater for the game on March 31st and then they are playing the Braves at Wide World of Sports on April 1st!! We are so excited!!

Will certainly check out some of the places mentioned. Do you happen to know the diner they always talk about going to at ST? I can not think of the name and my son wants to go!!
