I caved.
I thought they were the ugliest things ever, when I tried a pair on my DD(3).
A few weeks ago, I found a less horrible looking, glittery pink canvas pair form Payless. Simple pink body, with a few lights on the toe part.
Anyway, she has worn them to daycare a few times. I don't know what it is about the big playground (3&4 year old class gets to play on the BIG playground as opposed to the two smaller playgrounds that the one and two year olds play on. It's all in the same area just seperated by fences...)
Anyway, I don't know what it is about the BIG playground, but my daughter comes home FILTHY DIRTY everyday, as opposed to when she came home after playing on the smaller playgrounds. Needless to say, after a few times of wear, her cute pink sparkly shoes are dirty. How can I go about cleaning them? Remember, the body is stiff canvas covered in glitter and the toes have lights. I am guessing the washer is out.
Oh and in case you are wondering why I even bought these shoes if I knew they were going to get dirty......I have "daycare clothes/shoes" and weekend/at home clothes/shoes if that makes any sense. I planned on these being "at home shoes" just like her white based t-shirts, but my husband wakes her up, gets her dressed, and drops her off at daycare in the mornings and in haste he put her in the pink sparkly shoes a few times, because he couldn't find her "for daycare" Nikes.
