Cleaning Laminate Flooring

For the most part I use the Hardwood/laminate flooring cleaner, but I would like to know what everyone else uses? Had a huge mess yesterday w/my older dog (poor thing, she didn't mean it) anyway... wanted to REALLY clean the floor and was afraid to use anything else but the "recommended" floor cleaner. I saw the Shark Steamer on QVC and they said it was safe for Laminate flooring but I don't really trust it, looks like it could lift the flooring. Any advice anyone?
