clean corian?

Okay my new white corian countertop is less than a week old nad dh got pencil marks on it. What can I use to get them off? I know there are some cleaners I should not use, but what can I use?

I use mr clean magic erasers on mine. I have the off white sink and it always needs a good clean after a round of dishes!

Our installer told me Windex or that type of product was good to use on our Corian. I haven't found anything I've needed more than soap and water for in the last 2 months we've had ours.

p.s. Be careful what you use Magic Erasers on. They are awesome cleaners but they seem to take the finish off of some things.

For really tough stains I use Softscrub with Bleach (per my installer). Works great!

I've had my corian for over 15 years, I clearly remember the installer said to use an ammonia based cleaner. So I use windex mostly for the bathroom countertops, for the bathroom and kitchen sinks I have always used soft-scrub. The kitchen countertops I just use soapy water. It's pretty resilient. Just never use nail polish remover around it. The acetone will ruin it. My 17 yo DD. Knows to never use nail polish or remover around it.

Ditto the SoftScrub with Bleach - works amazingly well on Corian.
