Claustrophobia at Universal

If the rest of my party does Hogwart's Express, is there an easy way for me to get to the next park (this is the one that goes between the parks right?) to meet up with them?
You can just walk. You'd be walking from near the back of one park, between the two park entrances, to near the back of the other park. I would say 15-20min. Most likely you'll beat the train riders.

This is exactly what I was wondering. If there was access park to park near the ride or I would have to use the normal entrance. Thanks!

It’s definitely walkable between the two parks. Also, each direction is a different experience so if your family just wanted to experience that, they could ride it over and ride it back. You could explore the shops in the Harry Potter land you are in while you wait for them to return.

This is great info, thanks! I didn't realize each way would be different, that will make my life easier. I appreciate you letting me know

The IIRC, the only rides with over the shoulder restraints are Forbidden Journey, Dr. Doom Fearfall, & Hulk.
On Forbidden Journey, you also can't really see those next to you and it is much more "boxed in" than a coaster car. You might take a look at the test seat, I can't remember if it's got the sides like the real ride does.

Forbidden Journey is my favorite ride, but there are times I just can't do it with my claustrophobia. I do sit in the test seat (one outside the ride and one inside) and just sit a min. to psych myself up to ride. Sometimes I am good with it and sometimes not. If I can ride with my husband and grab his hand, I am good, but we are here now and have had to do single rider as our 6 year old can't ride yet, and I did it Thur but couldn't Fri.
