Clarion Maingate ?

I have Choice points to use and planned on staying the first and last night that we are in the WDW area at an offsite Choice Hotel property with thoses points. Right now I was thinking of the Clarion Maingate, just looking for a plan to hang by the pool and unwind after a couple of days of driving down from WI before hitting the World, and a place to crash before hitting the road in the early am for the long drive back to WI. What are your thoughts?

We stayed at this hotel through a Priceline bid of $29.00 in December.

I definately think it was worth the 30 dollars. It was in a decent, but not reat location on 192, close to a few restaurants.

The room was large and clean and the people were all freindly. There was a restaruant in the lobby which we never tried, and a snack shack out by the pool with reasonable priced food...served alcoholic beverages.

The only word of warning about this hotel and the plans to lay around the pool is that the pool is SMALL! If there were a lot of people with the same idea, there is not a lot of room around the pool with chairs and the pool itself is pretty small.

The room we received was large..it had a sleeper sofa, and 2 queen sized beds...

I would stay there again for a night or 2, but not any longer than that.
