We are planning on taking our next WDW trip in July 2016. My DH, myself, and our 3 boys just went last month, but next year it will be myself and my boys(who will be 13,7, and newly 4),my mom, my brother, sil, and niece (who will be 2). I realized today, that a year from now, my YDS will likely be able to ride all of the 40inch requirement rides. So, I started thinking...does that mean my 7 year old and 13 year old would be able to ride these rides together? I know that with many of the rides, a 7 year old can ride alone. But I also have read that a child must be accompanied by someone 16 or older. My mom will likely be watching my niece and my sil will not ride without my brother (wee went through this on our last trip with them. She gets kind of scared and likes to have him with her). So, it has me wondering if I will be able to ride with my 4 year old and my 13 and 7 year olds be able to ride together? I know a lot of the rides will permit 3 to a seat, and then my 13 year old could ride alone, but he did alot of that this trip, as DH or I would stay with YDS while the other road with the older boys, and then we would swap. I'm just wondering if this is going to work out for us on the rides that only permit 2 per seat. If not, I may force DH to come.

From my understanding it is possible. I believe it is 7 to ride by yourself, so your 7 and 13 year olds should be able to ride together. I'm sure someone else will comment to confirm or deny what I said, but I believe your plan will work. Have a great trip!

The 4 year old would have to ride with someone 14 or older. The 7 and 13 year olds are OK together.
