just for clarification, i am sure that all of the rooms above Wyland Galleries, regardless of floor, are considered to be "Garden View".
they are NOT "Boardwalk View".
i know this because, during my visit last month at BWV in a Boardwalk View Studio, the front desk was trying to a find a room for me to switch to (ant problem, long story).
they said to me "the only room that is
comparable to your current room is on the 2nd floor".
since i like higher floors, i asked them, "do you have any studios on a higher floor in any other category?"
and then they offered me a choice of a 5th floor studio overlooking the Village Green area.
i was surprised by that answer, because i always thought Village Green was considered Boardwalk View; so i asked them, "isn't that room considered a comparable room since it has a Boardwalk View?"
and their answer was, "no, the rooms in that section overlooking the courtyard are considered Garden View, so they are a different category than Boardwalk View"
this basically means, for those of you who didn't book 11mos out, and all Boardwalk View rooms are sold out, you still have a small chance of overlooking the Boardwalk if you book Garden View, request the courtyard village green view.

heh.
i guess it's kind of like the Secret Porthole Rooms on
DCL.
the thing is, i do believe that most of the rooms above Wyland Galleries are studios. there is one GV on the corner, i think. maybe on the 4th floor? it wraps around the corner, so it only partially overlooks the courtyard, and the other windows directly face the Boardwalk.
anyway, HTH.
