Clam Bake or Princess Akershus for dinner?

We're are planning on visiting Epcot our first night and are trying to decide between the Princess Dinner or the Clam Bake at Cape May Cafe. How is the Clam Bake? Thinking about doing this for our first night. Is it a long walk from Epcot to the Beach Club? Would love to hear from anyone that has tried these places. Thanks!!!!

When I went to Disney last April, we ate at Akershus. If you have young children, I would recommend a breakfast at Akershus. The lunch and dinner are pretty traditional Norwegian foods which even my parents didn't find particularly enjoyable (and they love foreign foods.) The breakfast there is a typical American breakfast with eggs, sausage, pastries, waffles, and fruit. It still has the princesses. I haven't been to the clam bake, but it was featured in a recent episode about Disney on the Travel channel as one of the best restaurants. It's not too far away from Epcot, located just off of the Boardwalk. I hope this helps!

Those are 2 totally different type restaurants

We've gone to the Clam Bake at Cape May many times, most recently in December. Food was very good, lots of choices even for people that don't like clams & mussels.

It's been a few years since we've been to Akershus, but we're going for dinner in June We would have gone in December (even had the ADR) but when I emailed the menu to my Dad (who was joining us), it was a little more different than he was willing to try

The walk to BC is very easy from Epcot. Go out the International Gateway (between UK & France) and it's about a 5-7minute walk.
