As a long-time leader who also just stepped down due to real world time issues, I can assure you Captain that you will really have a lot of fun just being a guest again. While I still try to help, it is also very nice not to have the constant procession of guests begging for free things because "you are a leader and you are supposed to help me" or the guests who only come to see you to see if "VMK Staff is on and take me to their room so I can hang out with them".

The nice thing is, if time permits, you will be able to apply again if you miss being a leader. Good luck in your studies!
