To OP: since you ask "if points are not an issue", I presume you're not really concerned about what would be the most economical way to get CL, but rather if CL is worth it, or which CL is best.
DW and I have stayed CL at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge, Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Beach Club, and Boardwalk -- we've missed both Yacht Club and Polynesian, but we're spending a couple of nights CL at the Poly in July!
We would rate the AKL Concierge our favorite. The upstairs lounge is great, and the offerings are first rate. Surprisingly, our least favorite was Grand Floridian. The whole building was concierge -- Sugarloaf -- so there was not really a separate lounge. Everything was essentially set up in the lobby, with pretty much constant traffic. And, to us at least, it seemed as if the staff was looking at us not so much to see how they could help, but to catch us doing something wrong. That's how we felt, at any rate.
We also really liked the Contemporary. The lounge is really neat, looking out toward the MK, with a nice balcony. Wilderness Lodge, Beach Club and Boardwalk were also very nice, but since you can't get them on points, I guess it doesn't really matter.
Staying Concierge is something we enjoy as an occasional splurge, and with all the snacks and treats in the lounge, you don't need to eat elsewhere, so the overall cost isn't as bad as it may seem (at least, that's what we tell ourselves

). The staff can be really helpful in getting reservations. You also get the turndown service -- DW really liked the chocolates they leave on your pillows!
