Do all CL rooms at the AKL offer a view of the animals from your room?

Do you feel isolated at AKL? I love the idea of the resort but I hear some people complain of not being closer to the rest of the parks.

All the CL rooms are on the 4th floor facing the main (Arusha) savanna.

My whole family loves AKL -- it's a gorgeous, unique, amazing resort. And probably our favorite CL as well...

We don't feel isolated, but we do feel like we have been transported away from the hustle and bustle of the parks. We found that that was a good thing for us. It's still very Disney and all, but it's not like you are at the Poly looking at the castle all day either. Hope this helps...

The only negative we have about AKL is the distance and bus transportation everywhere. At all other Deluxe's, you have at least easy and non-bus transportation to a park. Even at AKL, you have to take a bus to AK and it's not exactly around the corner from the hotel.

BUT DON'T LET THAT STOP YOU!!!!

The pluses far outweigh that one negative for at least giving it a try. As a PP stated, you do feel like you are away from it all, but the animal interaction, the appointment of the rooms and the design/details/ architecture of the lodge is second to none.

And.... CL at AKL is usually the most affordable CL in all of WDW!!!
