Citywalk on New Years Eve

We'll be arriving at our Downtown Disney hotel on the afternoon of New Years Eve. My two sons want to drive up to Citywalk to eat at Margaritaville about 4:00 or 5:00, then return to our hotel to walk to Downton Disney. Does anyone know how crowded Citywalk will be that afternoon? I didn't know how bad the traffic would be or if the parking would be completely full with people coming to spend New Years Eve there. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

US/IOA have a big (and I mean big) parking building - several stories - it would take a lot to fill it.

that say - NY eve might do it.

You'll have to pay $10 to park there. Usually it's only after 6:00 pm, but on yholidays and during certain events (Halloween Horror for example) they charge all night.

Make usre you write down where you've parked, or you'll never find your car.
