Citywalk and kids???

Is there anything to do in Citywalk in the evening with kids (ages 6, 9 and 11) or is it adults only? I know there is a movie theater there, but is there anything else that a family can do together? TIA!

Early evening, after the parks close. I thought since it was spring break the parks would be open later but it looks like they will close at 7pm the week we'll be there.

We ran into this problem on our last trip. There just wasn't tons to do with younger kids at Citywalk once we were finished for the day at the parks.

We just ended up going back to our hotel and playing in the pool 2 nights and one night we went to DTD.
We stayed offsite that trip and had our car.

Yeah....CityWalk is mainly for adults so there isn't a lot for kids to do.

Ok, then tell me this. (Don't want to hijack this thread, but no use starting another one.)

What is there for teens to do? Any venues have live music that our teens are allowed into? They do love nightlife and live music. I am holding out for possibly a good show at the Hard Rock live, but so far not much is posted for June.

The streetmosphere in CityWalk at night can be an attraction in itself. There's carnival games that the family can play, things to see..

Some people enjoy the vibe of Margaritaville which has live entertainment you can catch (but you'd have to be in before 10pm). NBA City will keep everyone entertained with interactive games, good food, screens with NBA programming, etc.

There's also character dining on select nights at the hotels.

A costlier option would be a show at Blue Man Group.

We usually do dinner at Margaritaville, which often includes family friendly entertainment such as stilt walkers, ballon animals etc. We will usually stick aroudn for the bands first set, then walk around CW and do a little shopping, watch a movie etc. I've found that as long as you stay along water front, the atsmophere is pretty kid friendly.

As already mentioned, the resorts are a good option too. The Islands Diningroom at RPR has family friendly activites every night. A couple of nights there are character meals. Another night a magician, and on another face painting, a kids buffet etc.

Cool! My kids would love to watch a magician, is it something they do regularly? We are staying at RPR in December.

We keep meaning to catch his show but the 2x we've stayed there we neded up haivng other plans those nights, so I don't know what the show entails. It is the witchdoctor on wednesday nights.
