Me and my boyfriend are going to Universal for 3 days 2 nights in October (for Halloween). I don't think I can cope with Halloween Horror Nights so I'm trying to find things to do instead during the evening. We have conceirge service at Hard Rock for the 2 nights so not really looking for a big sit down meal but just looking for something nice to do after the parks close. I haven't been to Universal since 2004 so I'm sure things have changed but here are a few questions:

  1. What Clubs/Bars are the best and why?
  2. Which Clubs/Bars should we avoid?
  3. We're going to be there Wednesday night and Thursday night. I noticed that Latin Quarter and Red Coconut Club have ladies night, which is the best and why?
  4. Is the Bob Marley Club any good and if so when is it best to go there?

If anyone has any other advice please share it.
Thanks

I think the best place for you to start is to check out this link...then if you have additional questions, let us know.

If you're on the Club Level at HRH, then you can take advantage of the food they lay on in the early evening. Mostly snack kinds of things, but a lot of people make a meal of it. Then you can head for the pool for a nice relaxing evening. (Bar service from the Beach Club bar at poolside!)

The Velvet bar in HRH is very hip.

Over at CityWalk, Marley's can be good depending on the band; most of them are Wailers wannabes and the quality varies. I prefer Red Coconut to Latin Quarter, but it's a matter of taste, I think.

With a Party Pass you can pop into all of them and then head back to the one that you liked best.

Thanks a lot for the ideas!
