City Mini double sun shade question

Are the sun shades on these adequate? Here at home I use a 50 SPF UV sun shade that snaps over the top of the stroller shade to give a bit more protection. I'm wondering if I should bring one along for the City Mini we are renting.

I think the sunshade is AWESOME on the Baby Jogger, personally I don't think you would need it.

It is huge!!! We have a fair redhead, and the giant canopy is one of the reasons we chose the CM.

My dd needs to be extremely cautious of the sun due to a medical condition. We just rented this stroller and it provided phenomenal shade for her.

It covers the head and entire torso. Occasionally an arm could get some sun depending on where it is put. Legs are still in the sun a bit, so if you are concerned about that you might want something to cover. My dd had to wear pants, but we expected that. I brought along an extra shade, but didn't need to use it at all.

Dd's also declared the stroller 'super cozy'!!!
