Does anyone know if the City Mini Double can be wheeled onto the monorail or if it would need to be folded?

Thanks! Amy

Depends. If the car is full or a wheelchair or scooter needs to get into the car you are in, you'll need to fold it up. Always plan on folding it up and be pleasantly surprised if you don't need to.

I've never had to fold mine. I just wheel it right on. And I've even been in a car with three other unfolded strollers.

Thanksgiving week was our first trip with our city mini double (loved it BTW), so a busy week. We never had to fold it. We did have to find a car that wasn't full or didn't already have a couple strollers in it, but definately worth it. Much better than trying to hold a 6 month old and a 2 yr old while DH held the stroller when we had to ride the bus to AK and DHS.

soooo glad I just saw this post. I am debating on whether to rent a city mini double stroller for my trip. I have a 4 year old and 6 year old. Please let me know if its too "bulky". Both kids total weight is 85 lbs.
It looks to be compact and lightweight, but without actually seeing one in person, its hard to judge.

I've rented this double stroller twice and have always wheeled it right onto the monorail. I look for a train with minimal people. There was only one time I had to fold it up, and that was returing home from MK to GF after wishes in Oct when the park closed at 9pm. Everyone was leaving at the same time and the monorails were very crowded.

I wrote up a review of the stroller including pictures of my 2 boys in it.

It is definitely no where close to "bulky".

I am considering renting one for our trip next week. We are staying off-site, anyone used them while staying off-site? Do I give the actual physical address of the condo or just the development?
My dds are 6 years and 8 months, they are about 65 lbs total together. Is the stroller heavy and bulky? We are renting a car so would be taking it in and out of the trunk.

Thanks for all your replies!! I was going to bring our P&Ts tandem (which I love), but I think I am just going to bring our Mac Quest and rent the City Mini. That way we'll have two options each day depending on where we are going. Our older DD will be 5 and the younger one will be almost 2.
