City mini double& airport security

we are bringing our double stroller, it is a City Mini double Baby Jogger. I can't imagine it would fit through the security scanner even folded in half. Anyone have a large stroller and experience with airport security? If they bring us somewhere to do a manual check I just want to know so I can budget some more time.

They will pull you to the side and check the stroller. Usually dh goes with the stroller and I wrangle the kids. It takes a minute or two if you have the entire stroller empty (pockets, vasjet, cup holders etc)

I have a single Valco - it is a pretty big stroller (we rented a city mini double and I think the footprint is almost the same). In all North American airports we have had no problem fitting it on the x-ray machine once folded. In the Caribbean it hasn't fit so they take it to a room and so a hand test on it. Usually they are pretty quick and in the time it takes to get everything back in pockets, backpacks on etc. it is back.
