I'm a little worried....everywhere I look says Citricos is not open on Mon. or Tues. I had hoped this changed because I wanted to eat here on a Mon. and the CM at Dining said it was open and let me make an ADR. If I was allowed to make an ADR, they aren't going to still end up closed are they??? I figured someone on here would know for sure, but last year's passporter and the allearsnet menu both say it's not open on Mondays, so I'm just a little worried.....
 
I'd be worried too. Its always been closed on Mondays. I'd call them directly if I were you. They are my fav place to eat and Chef Gray is a God.
 
Well, as it's a Tuesday, I got a message system that said they were open Wed- Sat. or something like that. Why would the computer system accept an ADR for a day the restaurant wasn't even open??? :guilty:
 
I was always under the impression that they were open certain days.....I would call Disney Dining.. 407-wdw-dine and find out whether they are open for when you have the ADR.....

I know when we were there the last time, there were trying to extend their hours and be open more nights.. maybe that is what happened..
 

Maybe it IS open on Tuesdays now! If not, it's odd that the computer would allow you to make the reservation. In any case, I would call Disney Dining again and ask them to CONFIRM that the restaurant is open; or call the restaurant directly. 407-824-3000.

I just feel like confirming with Disney Dining won't help...I made the reservation through disney dining, and have a confirmation #...so they'll just say, yes you have that reservation....Shouldn't I continue to call Citrico's itself and check with them instead? I'll try to call them tomorrow and see what they say and post an answer.
 
I would call Citrico's directly. Since March is Spring Break season they may be extending the days they are open. But then again it could be a "computer" glitch, ie some human entered or didn't enter some data correctly. You may want to ask to speak to a Manager instead of a hostess to be doubley sure.
 
I would call back and check just to make sure there was no misunderstanding....as in one person saying one date and the other hearing a different one.

But if the date is correct, I bet it is just good news that Citricos is opening up more nights again. It really has been busier in the last year or so in our experience.

BTW, Citricos used to be open for dinner 7 nights/week. It cut back a few years ago. I don't remember exactly when but my guess would be sometime after 9/11.
 
I got a call today sasying the restaurant was closed for the aformentioned ADR in March! Back to the drawing board.
 
Yep...I got that call today too. Got on here to post the update. This is the 3rd restuarant I've tried to plan for this day.... :guilty:
