Where should we go for the night after our wedding? I would love to do V&A, but it is sooo expensive, and I don't know that DF will really be into that, since he is not a foodie at all, and doesn't like to be at dinner for a long time. Do you think we should splurge and do V&A, or do you think Citricos would be a better choice for us.

Personally, I went to V&A before, I did not care for it. Now, I went the the first day of our trip and maybe I was just tired but it wasn't for me. Amazing quality and service but as you said, I'm not a foodie and I ended up not liking most of what was offered.

I'm thinking about trying Citricos. What about Morton's? I took my DF (then DB) and father and we all had a wonderful meal.

I agree. I am a foodie, but I still think V&A's would be a waste of money if your DH isn't that into the food and doesn't like to be at dinner for a long time. Citricos serves swanky cuisine for much less money, and just think what you could buy with the extra dough! :thumbsup2

I LOVED Victoria and Albert's, but we are both foodies. If your husband is not, it would probably be a waste.
Show him some sample menus (on allears) and see what he thinks of the food. If he sees things he would like, I would go for it. If not, look elsewhere.

Have you considered Narcoossee's as well? If you would rather stay at GF, I would give that an edge over Citricos.

Citricos was thoroughly underwhelming. The food was not prepared properly when we were just there on January 9th. The gnocchi were heavy and gummy, the shrimp were translucent on one side, and my osso bucco with bone marrow spoon was bland. Not to mention the marrow was completely rendered, making it unable to eat.

I would recommend hopping on the monorail and heading to Cali Grill. Best food in WDW. The view is unbeatable too.

Not been to V&A's but we visited Citricos in August and thought it was wonderful. Previously our favourtie onsite restaurant was California Grill (we even had our wedding meal there) but we thought Citricos just beat it. We were treated so well there, and the food was incredible :thumbsup2

I've heard/read so many amazing reviews about Citricos and we are having our wedding dinner reception there :cutie:
