Citricos vs Narcosee's

I had been planning on eating at Citricos one night on our next visit. But now I'm having second thoughts and am thinking about Narcosee's instead.

So, to those of you that have eaten at both - which one do you prefer, and why? We will be a party of four, no kids. Cost won't be a big issue as we will be on the Deluxe Dining Plan.

I prefer Citrico's. I've eaten there twice and the food is excellent as well as the service. It also has a quieter atmosphere.

Narcoossee's was pretty tightly packed, seating wise. The food was ok but the service was bad. It could have been an off night because I know people rave about it. It just didn't live up to the hype for me.

I prefer Narcoossee's to Citrico's but I would go with Citrico's for 4 adults with no kids. Citrico's is a more elegant restaurant.

I also prefer Citricos because of the atmosphere. It's significantly quieter and more of a relaxed setting. That being said, your choice depends on what you're looking for. Narcoossees has it's strong points with the location and the fact that you can view Wishes from the restaurant if you'd like. The food at both is really good, but I lean towards Citricos because I found the flavors to be more interesting.

We ate at both places...my husband and I prefer Narcoossee's...we enjoyed the appetizers and entrees but we did enjoy our desserts much better at Citricos. Citricos is a much quieter place. Both places were good but we prefer Narcoossee's. Why not try both places for your upcoming trip. We love Narcoossee's so much we ate 2 nights in a row.

I have never eaten at Citrico's, so I can't speak to that. However, we went to Narcoossee's in January and had a gerat time. I thought the atmosphere was casual classy. They had rat pack/big band music playing and I love that stuff! The setting on the water was great and we could walk out and watch Wishes, which we did.

I thought the service was great. We were on the dining plan and our server was a really nice older guy who gave us recommendations on everything. He was attentive and boxed our deserts for us since we were so full from our meal. We had the lobster tails and steak. Wonderfull!

At the end of the meal, my wife took my son back to the GF front desk to ask some questions and she took our KTTW cards with her. So the bill came and our dinning plan has now left the building. Our server let me leave to go get the KTTW card from my wife. No questions asked. No hassels. I would definately go back to Narcoossee's.

We prefer Citricos ... the food and service were incredible and the atmosphere was relaxed and elegant. The braised shortribs and the veal shank were two of the best entrees we had on our last trip to WDW.

Narcoossee's is primarily a seafood restaurant and while it's good, there are two signature restaurants on property that do seafood much more creatively and with far better taste in our opinion: Bluezoo and Flying Fish.

I ate at Citrico's last Saturday night and had a WONDERFUL experience. The service was excellent, the food was amazing, the atmosphere was elegant and relaxing, and it was perfect for 3 adults trying to unwind without children. We had a great time and cannot wait to return!

We've done both in the past year and you won't go wrong with either. I'd suggest Citrico's if you are looking for quieter, more elegant surroundings. Narcoossee's if you are looking for something a bit more casual.

Thanks everyone for the information so far. I had it in my mind that Narcoosee's was the more elegant restaurant of the two (partly because of its location) which it seems may be wrong. We are definitely after a quieter meal, and we are already planning to visit the Flying Fish (seafood), so maybe we'll stick with Citricos this time (and try Narcoosee's next time).

Citricos for us to. The one time 3yrs ago we spent the money for Narcoosses we were dissappointed. A lot of people seem to like it though . Maybe we just caugth them on a bad night, but that being said up to that point i had never had a bad meal on Disney property.
