We are staying at the Grand Floridian and have 1 ADR left to make. We are a Grand Gathering of 8, with children ages 3, 5, 7. Which restaurant would be best suited for the kids? I've heard the food is excellent in both. Thanks in advance to all who reply.

I think the children would enjoy Narcoosees more. It's a beautiful restaurant that sits on the water with windows looking out at the lagoon. They can watch the boats doing by, perhaps catch the Electric Water Pageant and even fireworks if the timing is right. Citricos is definitely more of an adult atmosphere, nothing of interest other than the food itself.

Having dinner around the time of the Pageant or Wishes may be a little late for the younger ones. Although I'm sure coaxing my parents into babysitting while my wife and I return to Narcoossee's for a nightcap and Wishes and then the Pageant sounds like the perfect ending to our day. Thanks again.

We took are DD4 in 2008 to Narcoosies and she had a great time... actually fell asleep and slept through 1/2 of the dinner... LOTS of kids but a nice atmosphere we could see the Castle from our seat it was great... FOOD was incredible... Remember though its a Signature and costs 2 credits (I think)

I would say Narcoosee's is a more suitable atmosphere for the kiddies. It's a little more casual. They can view the fire works and the water pageant too! ;)

We just went to Narcoosee's last week, for my DH's birthday, and the kids both loved it. My 7 year old DD loved the kids' filet.

Originally I was leaning toward Narcoossee's. But after hearing Kevin's review back October about how casual and unpretentious Citricos was I began to second guess my decision. But you've all reassured me that Narcoossee's is the way to go.

Thanks again.
