Citricos or Narcoossee’s?

Can’t decide. Which one do you recommend and why.

We prefer Narcoossees by far. First off it is one of our all time favorite signature restaurant at WDW. The menu selection imo is better, as well as the portion sizes. I felt Citricos had very small portions, where as Narcoossees was just right. We usually order the whole maine lobster, which is out of this world. I enjoy the atmosphere of both, but give Narcoossees the edge. Especially if you want to go out and relax by the deck and take in the breathtaking view. Service has been great at both for us.

We've never been to Citricos, but tried Narcoossees for the first time in October and loved it. The service was fantastic. The food was really good - DH and I both had the surf and turf with the butter poached lobster tail. The almond cheesecake was the best desert we had all week.

I've eaten at Citricos twice. The food was good, but nothing special. We enjoyed Narcoossees much more and the food was better. Of the 2, I would pick Narcoossees.

Narcoosees for us is always the best meal we have at WDW the filet mignon is amazing as is thier whole lobster.

I've been to both within the last two years. My non-seafood eater DW would suggest Citrico's. So would someone who prefers more variety in dessert options. I'd suggest Narc due to being a huge fan of lobster as well as fireworks whilst I dine. Either are must do's.

Have done both but it's been many years since Narcoossee's. Citrico's is our current favorite on property and is a touch more elegant.

We dinner at both last trip. narcoossees was far superior.

Citrico’s was, to put it bluntly, dirty. There was food all over the floor, including whole rolls, which the staff simply stepped over gather than picking them up. The restaurant was 1/3 occupied so it wasn’t busy. (I waited tables for years).

Narcoossees - a great wine list, knowledgeable waitstaff and wonderful atmosphere.

We have eaten at Citrocos every trip for the past ten years. We also have eaten at Narcoosee's once. We were not impressed with Narcoosee's. Citricos changed their chef in recent years and it hasn't been as good. So I would vote California Grill!! We haven eaten there every time for 10 years as well and is always delicious plus it has an awesome view! Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli is a must have!

I've done Narcoossee's 3 times and have been disappointed each time. Citrico's has always been in the top 3 restaurants for me and I've been numerous times. They always have excellent service and food.

We have always loved Citrico's and it is one of the few restaurants we have eaten at multiple times. However, we only ate at Narcoosee's once on our second ever WDW trip, and we were on the DxDDP, so I feel like we didn't really explore the menu. We might try Narcoosee's again this trip because our impression right now is blah food and so-so service.

There was just a very similar question on this over on the DISBoards on FB page. That poster mentioned that they had been to Narcoossee's a few times so my suggestion there was to give Citrico a try.

They are both very good and its pretty much a coin flip. We prefer the quieter atmosphere of Citrico but its hard to beat the view across the lake from Narcoossee.

We used to love Citricos, a must visit for us. We had one of the best meals ever there when our daughter was 3. But the last two times we went 2015 and 2014 we had very bad experiences. primarily horrible service with food just okay. On our next trip we're not doing Citricos and revisiting Narcoosees again instead. The anecdotal reviews we've seen seem consistent with our decision to go to Narcoosees this time. Hopefully it's a good decision given we pay out of pocket. Disney dining is often a roll of the dice unfortunately.

I have always been a huge fan of Narcoossee's and has always been on our must do list. For the first time in all my visits, our last time there in June 2016 was good but was not one of their better days for us. Perhaps it was our large party of eight that helped contribute to it. We did try Citricos as well during that visit and were completely taken by surprise; it was fantastic. Next year when we go back to Disney for December 2018 we are going to do both.

I say do both. Sorry that probably doesn't help.
