Citrico's Closing????

WDW Dining is telling people Citrico's is closing after August 1, 2008?

Can any of our CMs confirm this?

Citricos is open daily until 8/3. After that it goes back to being closed Mondays and Tuesdays (normal off-season hours for them).

That's what some of us thought, but WDW DINE number is saying closed and refusing to take reservations (in this instance) Christmas week/day.

I thought they were only going to be open daily until early July, then back to being closed Mon & Tues?
Hmm. At any rate, we are going there for dinner on August 7. If they are closing somebody better call me very, very soon and offer something to replace it with! That was my first choice of restaurants for my birthday, but since my birthday is Tuesday they are closed.

I would definitely go with what our ConcKahuna is saying. He's far more reliable than someone on the wdw line. Not to disparage those folks, but they do get it wrong from time to time.

Shut up! So I really CAN go there for my ACTUAL birthday? OMG! That would be too cool! The problem will be switching my Kona dinner to the night I currently have Citrico's. OK. Off to call Dining!

ConcK, they are telling me no service on August 5. That's the date I really want to go for dinner. Any suggestions? When did you get that memo?

Citricos management probably hasn't set the tables in the system for that night yet, so if you wait a few days you should be able to do it
