We have dined at Cali grill and had a wonderful time but for our next Feb. break I'm considering Citricos or Artist Point for our splurge meal. Any votes on these or should we stick with Cali's? Thanks!

I have had great meals at Citrico's in the past and have always enjoyed the service as well. I also went to Artist Point our last trip and was pleasantly surprised with the meal, service was good. I would eat there again, I would always eat at Citrico's when in WDW....

We've now crossed off CG from our list of Must Dos and replaced it with AP. Service was top on the list of reasons.

My husband and I LOVE Citricos....we eat there at least once each trip. Service and meals are always first-rate!

See, now this is where you get into trouble. Everyone's got their opinions. We have given Citrico's a try twice, and we have vowed NEVER to go back. We thought it was marginal. Cali Grill can be touch and go, but the chef, Jens, who came on board from the Flying Fish, is great. Artist Point, I think, is extremely underrated, and you will not have a hard time making ressies for here. I think AP is outstanding, with a wine list that is very good. Of course, now that we have subjected ourselves to Victoria and Albert's, everything is a tough call! We have eaten now officially at every Disneyworld establishment sans the Food Court at any of the value resorts, and we have our favs and our marginals and our "really, really marginals."

Don't rule out Flying Fish or Jiko.

I have to agree with what I read here....except we have not been to V&A's though are going in December. Flying Fish is one of our favorites and Artist's Point is very good. I personally am another person who finds Citricos marginal at best...defintely not worth the money when you compare it to places like AP, FF, or CG.

So with that...if Citricos, CG, and AP are your choices....Citricos is the one I would NOT go to....the other two are always good.

More differing opinions...

We've had two outstanding meals at CA Grill with fabulous service and one very poor experience at Artist Point. It will be a long time before we go back to AP.

Can't speak to the quality at Citricos because we've never tried it, but I agree with the previous poster who suggested that you not rule out Flying Fish - it was excellent.

My DW and I really enjoy AP. We have dined at Citricos and CG as well. Our service at Citricos was not good and, IMHO, the ambiance of the restaurant is not that special to justify the cost. CG, on the other hand, has the best views on property, but you will also pay for it. ;)

I recommend AP. If you go, request a table by the windows when you check in at the podium.

And here we go with differing points of view.. we had a horrid experience at Flying Fish and have never gone back.. Server was testy and when we called over the manager, he was too. This is going back about 2 years and my husband said he would never set foot in that restaurant again and we have not. The food was served cold and seems they were annoyed, or so we felt, as we were not drinking. The castmember never came back to our table, served the food and was gone. We felt it was she was going to give her attention to those tables who were drinking the wine, chance for a bigger tip. We did call the Manager over, but he must have been having a bad night too as he did not want to hear it and did not seem to care that the food was dropped, cold and the castmember never came back to see if we were ok...We flagged her down one of the times she went speedily by us to complain, hence the manager coming over and it just went from bad to worse with my husband saying to the manager, I will never come in this restaurant again. And we have not.

I did have one bad experience at Jiko's, must have been a bad night for that server as he was just plain not around and the food was not up to par. I am trying it again in December....at least they will get another chance not so for Flying Fish.

Love Citricos and Artist Point equally. I have a hard time choosing between the two.

I owuld definitely try something new and not go back to CG. I love both Citrico's and Artist point, but if I had to pick one, it would be AP. I like the menu and wine list a little better than Citrico's.

Thank you all for the feedback. I am getting a lot of good vibes about AP. My question about Citricos now is can you see the water electrical parade from the restaurant? This is another reason we are considering Citricos.

The two times that I was at Citricos, I felt like I couldn't really see anything. There are windows in there, but not really conducive to viewing much. It could be that I just wasn't seated in the "right" place. There may be an area that is good for viewing, but I've never been in it.

I don't know about seeing anything from Citrico's. IMHO, it's like eating in the Grand Floridian Cafe with higher prices. ;)

If you really want a view and great food, I highly recommend Narcoossees. You can get a great view of Wishes from there. We have had three wonderful experiences there over a couple of years.
