Was the appearance of some of the Citizens at the Marathon a "one-time" event or a signal of their imminent return?

I don't know how accurate this is, but I read on another disney site that disney is bringing them back but not as many or a full schedule.
Anything would be great, IMO, but bringing them back like they were before disney cut them would be wonderful.

Never say never when it comes to them or the citizens of Main Street or any other streetmosphere entertainment though keep in mind the numbers were dwindling on these offerings even pre pandemic

I'm hoping it means they are coming back full-time. I miss Cloe Canard, Beau Wrangler, and Stone Granite the most, but would take any of them at this point. I'm also hoping that if they aren't coming back full-time, they'll be out for the Tower of Terror 10 miler in April.

The Princess 10k goes through DHS. I'm going yo wear a "Go Forth! Go Famous! Go Fabulous!" shirt as a nod to them so hopefully they will be on the course.

Adventurers Club characters have been appearing at the marathons for a few years, and that venue closed in 2008. You never can tell with Disney.

I figure citizen’s of Hollywood have now reached adventures club status and they will visit for races and possibly the newly announced moonlight magic events
