Cirque? Is it worth the $$$

I'll let you know after 8/19 when we see it for the first time! :thumbsup2 I'll admit that I was a little apprehensive about paying the high price, but we really want to see it so that's our treat for this up-coming trip.

We are going the 19th, too, for the first time. I read it's better to be further back, so we are in section 2.

Wow thanks for all the wonderfull reviews. Sounds like Cat 2 seating is it:thumbsup2 And will def. keep my eyes peeled for another disney visa promotion.

Yes, it is during certain dates in Aug and through Sept 20th. Just got tickets yesterday, saved almost $40.00, you do have to have a Disney Visa and I believe pay for it with the Visa as well.

I am planning on La Nouba for our upcoming trip! I can't wait. I believe that I saw on the Disney Rewards Visa website yesterday, that you can buy up to 4 tickets with 15% off using your Dis Visa. It is a pretty decent savings! Any little bit helps! Hopefully the promotion will still be running when you can get your tickets.

Cirque is the single best thing I have ever done at WDW. Definately go!

I've seen it 3 times now and am trying to plan number 4. It's one of those shows you could watch it 100 times and still not see everything- very much like Disney itself! And the music is live (try to find where it's coming from) and it's incredible!!! I own the CD. I always say it's worth the price and try to get Level 2 seating. I think that's the best buy! Hope you go and I don't have to hope you enjoy it if you do because I'm confident you will!

I've seen all the Las Vegas shows, 2 touring shows, and La Nouba. La Nouba is my favorite. It's definitely worth the money. I do agree, though, that a new show at Disney would be nice.

Does anyone know if you can pay for tickets with Disney Visa Rewards $ ??

TIA!

Am I going to be disappointed. DH & I will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary in Nov at Disney so DH got Front & Center tickets for the show. From the sounds of it these aren't very good seats :confused3

I just ordered our tickets today using the 15% discount, and it saved us almost $75 dollars! I know it says that it is only good for 4 tickets, but I really think she applied it to all 5 of ours! We have seen Mystere and KA in Vegas, and I loved Mystere! I hope it is as good or better than that!

Does anyone have an opinion on Category 3 seats? Also, has anyone ever purchased tickets at the box office on the day of the show?

I wouldn't pay $4.00 for the family to see it again. I had to keep elbowing one of the boys to keep him awake.

When I left Cirque, I had no butt left because they'd bored it right off.

I'm one of those folks who prefer regular, entertaining entertainment to artsy entertainment, though. I'm in the minority on the whole Cirque thing.

Blue Man Group at Universal, though...LOVED IT! :thumbsup2

It's a fabulous show!!! It exceeded my expectations!

We loved the show- even my husband thought it was amazing and I always have to drag him to shows (where he usually falls asleep). The part where the acrobats flip and dive through the windows of the building...absolutely astounding!! Loved it!!

1) Yes, the show is worth the price, in our opinion of course.
2) I would buy Cat-2, however.
3) The views are good and you don't crank your neck to see aerials.
