Hello all

We are planning our third trip to the world for next July:cool1:

Anyway we saw a blurb on one of the travel channels about Cirque and we all thought it looked cool, so I went to all ears to read about it and check out the prices:scared1:

Can you tell me all about it and if you think it is worth over 375-450 for our family.

Thanks

I'll let you know after 8/19 when we see it for the first time! :thumbsup2 I'll admit that I was a little apprehensive about paying the high price, but we really want to see it so that's our treat for this up-coming trip.

I have always wanted to take the kids but had the same questions as you...is it worth the money? I read many reviews saying even very young children thoroughly enjoyed it but I would suspect it depends on the child since it is a 90 minute show with no breaks. My Dh and I are doing an adult only trip in Sept so I ordered tickets this morning for us to go and if it's as good as everyone says then we will take the kids next trip. If you do decide to purchase tickets, from what I have read, don't spend the money on level 1 seats as the better seats are actually level 2 and some of level 3.

We enjoyed it very much (trip in 2002...2 adults only)!!!! It was one of the best parts of our trip!!

I have been to almost all of the Cirque shows and 'O' in Las Vegas. So far 'O' is my favorite and La Nouba is my second. It's a great way to end a WDW trip. I think it's definitely worth it.

As far as the price, it's relative. I completely believe in being finacially responsible. I don't have any outstanding credit card balances. I wouldn't mortgage the farm to go, but if it fits the budget than I think it's worth it.

Absolutely! I had always wanted to see a Cirque show and my parents saw an advert on the plane over to meet us on holiday last year and my Dad wanted to take us all as a treat.

It was amazing - even bought the DVD afterwards and have an ever growing collection of them now!!

My Dad, who has arthritis in his hands, was in agony for 2 days after with all the applause and he was just blown away by it as he wasn't expecting it to be as amazing as it was.

Definately worth the $$$$ and more!

I agree but you know your family best. My Dh and I love the Cirque shows as do my nephews (6 & 8). We haven't brought DD4 yet.

I have seen it twice now and I LOVE it. We were contemplating taking my DD2 this trip, but then I have to figure out what to do with DS, so we are going to wait I think. Still not sure as my DDad may come along with us and he said that if we want to go he wil watch DS. Anyway...I think it is worth it and something to see at least once!! It really is an incredible show!!

It is the absoloute best show on disney property and soooooo worth the money. Don't miss it. We got the cheaper seats and loved it so much!

It's worth the money. Be sure everyone understands that it is not the "traditional" circus.

We went last Jan. and it was wonderful, well worth the money. When I called for tickets I was advised by the worker not to get the most expensive seats, when we got there our seats were 5 rows from the back and Iasked the gentleman seating us if we would have a good view and he told me we would. He stated that 80% of the show is in the air. After the show I was so grateful I followed the advice I received because if I would have gotten the front seats I think my neck would hurt from looking up all the time.

It's definitely worth the money if you haven't seen it before. I am a Cirque fan and have seen the one at Disney, as well as several of the touring productions in Chicago. But they really, really, really need to get a new show at Disney...I've actually seen it twice there and think they would attract more repeat guests if they put in a new show. I love it, but twice is enough at that price.

It is to us, we are going to see La Nouba again for our girls trip.

I warn you it can be addictive! We started with La in December of 2005, Corteo in summer of 2006 driving to Chicago to see it, Kooza again in Chicago summer of 2008 (roped the extended family in and took 9 people to see it. They all loved it!!!!) And seeing La Nouba again this November. It is mind blowing.

I always play with my dates on the ticket site so I can get level 2 tickets on the aisle so there is more leg room. You dont want to pay for level 1 and looking overhead for a good part of the night.

I am planning on La Nouba for our upcoming trip! I can't wait. I believe that I saw on the Disney Rewards Visa website yesterday, that you can buy up to 4 tickets with 15% off using your Dis Visa. It is a pretty decent savings! Any little bit helps! Hopefully the promotion will still be running when you can get your tickets.

I wasn't sure if my 2 youngest children would like it so I watched some clips of La Nouba on You Tube. That convinced me! If you aren't sure - and you don't mind a few spoilers - check out You Tube. Just search for "La Nouba."

Cirque shows, all of them, are excellent. I have seen 4 shows in Las Vegas, -O- (3 times), Mystere (2 times), KA and The Beatles Love, Corteo in Chicago and La Nouba (3 times). Always a great show.

The second level and Cat two priced seats are probably the best. Most Cirque show goers, as said here previously, prefer the second level because of all the up high performances as well as on the walkway between the two levels. If in the lower, you will be looking up a lot and behind you, along with spending more money to do that.

I enjoy sections 203-205 in blue............

Cat 1 on the second level seats are the best.

Cirque shows are amazing! LaNouba is the most kid friendly of the Cirque shows and is great for the whole family.

If you can swing it, it is definitely worth the time and effort!

I have seen the show once in Vegas and twice in Orlando.

It is most definitely WORTH IT!!! I am a tightwad and this show is worth the money.

Awesome. You will not be disappointed. My DH saw the show with me in Orlando in 2006 and *still* talks about it. I even have some of the music CD's. So cool.
