So who has seen the Cirque du Soleil in downtown disney?

Is it worth paying the extra money to be front and center? I can not really tell how big the "venue" is. I am thinking of getting my wife a valentines gift of tickets... but we like big coomfy seats...

any feedback is welcome.

WE saw this in Nov with category 2 tickets and it was awesome..well worth the money. All my kids even enjoyed it. I would not want to be real close as it is a small venue and you would get a sore neck looking up and turning to see the stuff going on in the seating area aisles.......we could see everything well from our seats and there was lots to see :goodvibes

We sat on the side from about 3 rows from the stage.(section 101, cat 2) We also sat in the "upper" level area in the center.(section 205, cat 2) I actually liked the upper seats better for the reason the prior person stated-we had to look up too much-strain on our neck. HOWEVER, if that was the only seats I could get, I would go-the show is absolutely awesome! Even 2 skeptical teens thoroughly enjoyed it & still talk about it & ask when they can go back. (My DD21 got very annoyed with me that we went without her last time!) BY all means go-what a lovely surprise! Debbie

This show was very good. We seen it last year and we actually got a discount because we are annual passholder members. The seats however we not that comfortable, they are small, my DF is a large guy 6'5 & 250lbs & he was uncomfortable in the seat. We sat in the back and were happy with what we saw, if only the seats could have been a little more comfortable. :rotfl:

Saw it last year, had Category 2 seats, very good. I wouldn't want to be any closer, you have to keep your head tipped back to see everything and there is a lot to see. this show was worth every penny.

We had cat 2 seats, sec 205, row EE, seats 1-3. I was glad to sit on an aisle. The show was amazing and we were at the perfect height to see everything. The seats were not roomy or comfortable though. I have a feeling no matter how much you pay, the seats will feel the same, and that only the view changes. I could be wrong though. Have you read somewhere about big comfy seats? Nonetheless. it was a really great show. I'm sure your wife will enjoy it and appreciate your thoughtfulness. Your trip is coming up soon, have you checked availability?

We loved CDS. We had expensive seat but it wasn't really necessary since there isn't a bad seat in the house. Google the CDS seating lay out.

Ditto to all PPs.

The show is AWESOME and worth the money to see!

We had Cat 2 seats and they were great; no need to pay the extra $ for Cat 1 IMO.

I am very frugal, and it took me years to agree to pay the money to go to this show. Now that I have seen it, I would pay to see it again! :thumbsup2

I agree with everyone else...don't pay the extra to sit near the front because you will not get the best view.
