Cirque Du Soleil

We got our Cirque Du Soleil tickets today. Has anybody seen this show? If so is what is it like? Can't wait to see it

It's incredible, but very difficult to describe. I'd say the best way to get a flavour of what it's about is to check out the sample videos on the website.

We've seen six different Cirque shows now, and La Nouba is definitely one of my favourites! You will have a wonderful time.

Absolutely fantastic - you will be amazed and it is worth every penny. I have also see 'O' at the Bellagio in Vegas and although excellent it didn't compare to La Nouba. Words can't describe it as it is like no other show you will have seen before. Have a fantastic time.

Lucky you. My Gf wanted to see it when we go out end of the month, but they are on one of their 2 week holidays

This is the most recent thread I posted about Cirque, others also if you search.
I got so built up with the hype and reviews it was an anti-climax for me.
If I had gone knowing nothing about it I am sure I would have enjoyed it more.
Personally I prefer a good play or musical with a good story, better things to see than glorified circus acts.
Now I have probably put again what I wrote before LOL, read the other thread there are other posts.
I know most like the show, good thing we are not all the same.

I enjoyed it, my DS loved it, and my DW wasn't bothered.

My DS is going to see it again in August as a late birthday present.

How is it mis-interpretation? They are circus acts that have been highly tuned and perfected, they are probably the best in the world at what they do. I am not denying they are very good athletes and performers. But not everyone likes this sort of thing, Unfortunately I am one of them, I would strongly recommend anyone to see it for themselves, like I say good job we are not all alike.

I would say 90% of people on here say it is really good.

I enjoyed it but thought it was rather odd, there is some sort of storyline but it kind of gets lost, thats true with all cirque shows.

It the type of thing that you really cant explain even if you have seen it, give it a go and im sure you will come out with either a smile or a look of puzzlement on your face, thats what happened to us!

Expensive but well worth it.

I have seen this show a couple of times now but would not like to try to explain it. In parts there is a lot going on on the stage itself, sometimes too much to take in. I would recommend anyone to see this at least once.
