I know that La Nouba is closing in December, and I've always wanted to take my kids because I saw it as a teen and was amazed!!! I was waiting till they were all older but now I have to take them or I won't get the chance.

My older two are 13 and 10 so I know they will be great. My youngest will be almost 4 at our next trip.

Has anyone taken a 3 year old and how did it go? My son has never been to a movie theatre but does sit through my daughters 2 hour long ballet recitals quietly. Will he be okay at this?

Also, will his height be an issue with being able to see depending on our seats? I vaguely remember that the seat lean back quite a bit? Would a tall person in front of him bother him?

Thanks!!!

I think he may be a bit young, but you know him best. It's going to be somewhat dark in there and there's going to be a lot of stimulation going on. Ultimately it's up to you, but I think it would be a fun treat for your 13 and 10 year old.

It'll be a personal call - It's a circus first and foremost (minus animals) and they keep the pacing going but the trapeze acts and such might not hold a child's attention. Although if he sat through the recital he might be ok (and more entertained. :P )

i think at that young of an age, any height ahead of him will potentially block his view. My daughter is petite and when younger found herself having to sit on her knees to see. As for age itself, I've seen young kids be able to sit through it and others not as much -- up to the kid. :)
