We want to go to one of these shows while we are in Florida this coming June. Even though I am hoping to see both, we may only be able to afford one.

So I just wanted to know from you guys which you have seen and which you would choose if you could only go to one of the shows?

Thanks! :)

Hi Simon
Done both, not an easy question to answer, everyone has different tastes.
Our background, we love theatre, any Disney production, Whistle down the wind, Blood Brothers, Mamma Mia, Chitty, Joseph etc etc, try to go every 2 months to see a show.
We did Cirque few years back, I did not enjoy it, DS aged about 10 enjoyed, DW loved it. This year I thought I would try again, we saw 'O' in Vegas. It was OK but again came out think why did we just pay £60 each to see that, this time DS now aged 13 was under impressed. DW still enjoyed again.
Now BMG, that is more my kind of show, loved it, so did DW, DS is trying to get me to book again for Easter.
You will find majority of people love Cirque but for me its no choice, BMG wins hands down.

Simon we have only seen Cirque but hope to see BMG in Sept & return to Cirque. Cirque was amazing we all enjoyed it,on a par with Lion King (West End) if not better. What I would say though is don't bother paying extra for Cat1 seating,we done this last time & to be honest Cat2 & 3 views were just as good (unless you can get the seats right at the front!).
SD:thumbsup2

We have done Cirque twice and last year we did the BMG. Out of the two i would chose BMG although DD loved them both.

we've seen both and i MUCH prefer cirque (which we've seen 3 times)....
good luck with choosing...

Seen Lion King twice in London, absolutely love it but don't get Cirque at all.
I think Cirque is a show you need to see yourself, as I have said before on Dis, I believe I went with too higher expectations after hearing the 'must do', 'best show in the world' etc reports. If I had gone not knowing about it with no expectations I might have enjoyed it more.

Wish we had gone to see BMG - really slipped up whilst there in October. Lucy started playing with a little boy in the pool at HRH -eventually got talking to his parents (as you do), turns out his Dad was the producer and he offered us free tickets - but we just couldn't go cause we were going home that day!! Lucy had been friends with him for 4 days - he should have spoken up sooner:rotfl: !!! We will go next time we are back in Florida.

Loved Cirque but not sure whether i would go back to see it.

Thank you all for your replies so far! Looks like we may be torn between the two as I am favoring BMG but my GF loves the look of Cirque! Looks like we could end up seeing both!! May need to put in a little overtime at the office! :lmao:

I was looking on Dreams Unlimited for prices of the Blue Man Group Ticket - PLUS 2-Park Unlimited Admission Ticket but when I go through the link it goes to Universal's box office site, which seems to be down (and has been for days now!).

Does anyone know where to get these tickets and what prices they are?

Thanks (again!) :)

Would it be worth having a look at the DVD's, just to give an idea of what to expect? :confused3

We bought BMG with AP discount usually 10% off but some dates they give 20%. cost us $66 each incl tax, poncho rows.

I would do the extra hours and see both, then you get the right show.
