i'm taking my first adult disney trip with a friend for my birthday (I can't believe my princess will be missing this trip! but i need the adult time! haha)…we were wanting to catch a Cirque du Soleil show our first night there in downtown Disney…my question is, should we buy advanced tickets or do you think we could walk up and get a ticket? we will more than likely be going to the 9pm show but will be in the downtown Disney area around 6-7, so if we walked up to the box office around that time, will they still have tickets available for the 9pm show that night?

I would recommend that you buy the tickets ahead of time to save you the trouble. I've seen a Cirque show, but not the one in Disney. I really liked that I picked seats ahead of time online because I got a great view of the show. I know the Disney show lets you select your seats and it really does affect the quality of the show! But I don't know if you can still get decent seats just by walking up to the ticket booth the day of.

I just saw La Nouba on 6/1. I purchased my tickets the day before by calling DVC Member Services and I had seats in Section 203 Row BB. If you can purchase them ahead I would, I would also recommend buying Category 1 tickets, they have the best view in my opinion, you're not having to constantly look up or be so far from the stage.
