Cirque Du Soleil Drawn to Life Info and Call wait times

And looking at the November chart, they have only one show at 5:30. I guess they're not doing LaNouba show hours of 6 and 9 pm.

This is the last refund that I am waiting for (for a canc July trip)
Can anyone confirm that cancellations only being processed once date of your show has passed?Received email from cirque 3 weeks age that refund would be processed in several weeks - just wondering if I should reach out to them again ?
TIA !

I just called them today — in regards to an August date that I cancelled back in April as I’m an international traveller. At the time, I emailed Cirque customer service in Las Vegas. Their email reply said they were busy with April dates & someone would get back to me shortly. No one ever did.

I called the Montreal call centre today. They said my request was never made. That Disney is requesting cancellations on a month by month basis. That they are just the middle men — that Cirque doesn’t own these events. 🤷‍♀️ She said all Refunds will be made automatically in the month they are scheduled — when Disney gives them the request.

Now it’s just wait and see.

Correct, they filed for bankruptcy today. Laying off 95% of their workforce from what I read.

See - and I was told five weeks ago by cirque that they would be issuing the refunds directly, (via email from cirque guest relations) without any word from Disney - at the time, I was told that my July show refund would be processed in two weeks -

I know. It’s confusing. It doesn’t help that customer service are working from home in COVID-hard-hit Montreal. There doesn’t seem to be a Consensus on these refunds. I didn’t want to push it since it’s a tough day for employees I’m sure. The refund would come from Cirque — but it sounded like the “go ahead” was from WDW. And that was done one month at a time.

She sent me an email reading “Bonjour, thank you for your call! The refund request for your order has been sent to Walt Disney directly. Please note refunds will be processed within 30 days from the original performance date, we apologize for this unavoidable delay. Thank you for your understanding. Bonne journee!”

They laid off 95% of their staff in March, they laid off all the rest except their Las Vegas staff. When they come out of bankruptcy they will likely shed all their traveling shows. The Orlando show should still be a go, but don’t except it in 2020.

Heck Broadway just announced no shows until 2021.

The email I received today basically said the same as yours sans the remarks regarding Disney - just said "you are on the list - sorry for the delay. Please note it takes several weeks for the refunds to be processed"

It's so so sad to see the arts suffering. I used to work on Phantom in London and have many friends still there, many shows have cut contracts for staff, cast & orchestra because they cannot pay them months on end - especially now that the West End & Broadway have said no shows now in 2020.

Cirque have done all they can to survive, but they cannot be expected to pay their cast and crews every month without money coming in - it's catch 22 and there's nothing anyone can do about it. It's heartbreaking.

Is it going to take place? I just saw a message that Cirque du Soleil filed for bankruptcy and they apparently 95% of their staff in March 2020.
Or is the show in Disney Springs seperate from the company Cirque du Soleil, as in they designed/choreographed the show, and Disney is licensing it?

If you are having trouble getting refunds you could try filing a complaint with your credit card company.

Is it a good idea to ask for a refund now? I'm due to go in September, but being from the UK I think it's a miracle if my trip will still go ahead. I'd love to see the show, but if they're in trouble I don't know if I should just ask for my money back.

Asking for a refund on a product you won't receive shouldn't make anyone feel bad. They filed for bankruptcy they will have the money to pay back and refund everything.

They aren't selling Sept tickets any more. It doesn't appear that they will have the show in Sept.

A friend of mine is part of the team developing Drawn to Life and confirmed on social media they have not been furloughed and the show is still a go whenever they can open.

So the question becomes (August 28 tickets here) do we :

1) Wait for "assumed" refund which Disney is backing?
2) Call and request refund - To be told Disney will refund when it happens sometime close to your ticket date.
3) Call Credit Card and request charge back.

As a Western Canadian I "guess" I should support my fellow countrymen and trust them...
