I know the show is amazing, but I'm a stiff Brit reluctant to get involved :) Do a lot of people get yanked from the audience?

Been a while, but the only thing I recall are the mime clowns beforehand having some innocent fun. I don't recall audience participation during the show, though you do feel close

There are two times when there is audience involvement.

First is before the show actually starts. The clowns come out with boxes that they make some of the audience members hold. It's usually two people who are sitting in the back row of the center front section. It's no big deal though, they just pile the boxes up in your lap.

The second time is when the bicyclist is doing his show. He pulls someone up from the front row of the center section. Usually it's a man, who he has lay down so he can jump over him.

Other than that, the audience isn't involved at all.

Forgot the bike part - thanks

Another instance I recall from a year or so ago...

The clowns went into the aisle during the seating and pretended to be ushers... they showed a couple to their "seats" in the middle of the stage. The couple actually sat there until the show was about to start and the real ushers came and showed them to their real seats.

I forgot that bit... they did take the tickets from two people as they were walking in and go "show" them to their seats. They actually took the tickets onto the stage and sat them on the floor, while the guests stood there waiting for a minute or two before the ushers showed them to their actual seats. Very cute!!

Definitely go!! The show was awesome, and you'll have a wonderful time!!!

The clowns come out 15 minutes prior to the show so if you don't want to be "the ones" that get ushered to the stage make sure you are there and seated prior to that. Other than that, as others stated the piling up of boxes is usually someone in the back row of the lower section and is not to tramatic and the BMX portion is a gentleman in the front row dead center. You should be fine and the show is amazing.

DH and I really enjoyed Mystere in Vegas and are considering taking DD12 and DD8. Can anyone compare the two?

If you liked Mystere you will like La Nouba. We loved Mystere (speaking of audience participation, my friend ended up being Papa at Mystere...hysterical!). Anyway, we have seen La Nouba a bunch of times and never tire of it. We decided to see Mystere on our Vegas trip and loved it. The acts in La Nouba are quite different than Mystere but still very impressive. If you have any specific questions I would be happy to try and answer them, the shows can't be compared, but they are both equally as enjoyabe :)

Thanks for the feedback Belle! You pretty much summed up my question in your first sentence. LOL :wave2:

My Dh got pulled up for the BMX bike part...we were front row centre. It was hilarious!!! Definately a highlight of our trip!! While he was up, one of the 4 white clowns sat in his seat, pretending to be scared/nervous, then he jumped right onto my MIL's lap!!! I wish photography was allowed. They did give my DH a certificate for being an "honourary performer". We loved the show, and so did our kids, 6,9,12.

We have front row seats, 5, 6, and 7, dead center! I'm going to put DS18 in seat 6 and hope he gets pulled out for the stunt. He doesn't even know we have dead center front seats, I hinted that we were in the back off to the side!
