We wanted to take advantage of the $50 tickets for our October stay.
I called member services Sunday to see if there was any availability, black-out dates, times, etc. The member website and MS said that a member can purchase of up three tickets for their guests. I was also told that my husband and I would be considered two members, therefore since there will be 5 members in October, that we can purchase up to 15 tickets as long as we show our member ID when we get there. We are 9 people total - so I really only need four tickets for non-members which is way under the 15 total.
There was availability, date and time was good. After checking with everyone here yesterday and today, I call MS back to buy the 9 tickets. Well, she had to check with someone else and said that I could purchase three, my husband can purchase three, etc. etc. and each one would be a separate transaction and we might not get all the seats together. She said if I purchased all nine that when we get to the window - we might have to pay full price. I said, I was told something else different on Sunday, this sounds silly and makes no sense. If I have four kids, I would be taking a chance that I would not be seated with my family.
I think I will be calling again to speak to someone else tomorrow or I will let my friend try if I don't have the time. Regardless of what the next MS rep will tell me, I will be worried they will charge me extra when I get there.
