i also joined the group and it said i have to wait to be accepted. it would not let me click on the database thing.

It started making me approve each member- I was out at Bible study so I just approved membership for believen and party of 3 so now you can go to the group and get into the datatbases. i think I will have to approve the new members from now on. I am not sure why it switched after the first few but oh well. it isn't hard I just have to check in on my email.

My email connection went down just as I sent it so the invite muight have gotten lost. I sent you and Ohana4 an invite. Once you accept it I can approve you.

Second, I am not computer illiterate, I am computer STUPID!!! Dh is working so I cant get him to help me but I will and I just want you all to know that I am here and will probably get this taken care of tomorrow.
I didnt want you to think I hadnt recieved messages or dropped out, I just have to wait for DH.
I will learn computers this year!

All you need to do to start is to send me your email address. I will send you an email through the group and then you just push the buttons in the email to join. You can wait for your DH though. I figure it will take a few days to get everyone into the yahoo group.

I got a pm with a question I thought I should address here because I am guessing some of you that haven't done a journal before might have the same question.

"Will I get all 12-15 (actually 13) journals in one month?"

No- you will get one each month and mail one each month every month on the 15th (or about then) you will mail the journal you have to the person on the list after you (the finalized list will be at the yahoo group not here on the boards). You should recieve a journal from the person before you soon after that. We understand that sometimes emergencies occur, you are on vacation, ect. so we will use the yahoo group to comminuicate about when we are mailing and track our journals as they travel around the country.

One other note- since Mazda will not actually get your journal if you sign-in pages have attached sign-in boxes (boxes, folders, pockets, ect) please keep one loose with the book that can be sent to Mazda when she gets her information. If you are using loose items - tags, postcards ect. in a pocket you don't need to worry about this. Once DIT or I recieve the sign-in back from Mazda we will attach it in the place you leave if needed.

Ditto! I usually ask a teenager around to help me!
A very sweet friend came over the other night and taught me how to post pictures here and set up a blog for me. I have cheat sheets to use. I am still skeered to try it.
Maybe tomorrow.

and thanks for the point about sign-in stuff - if you HAVE to stick it down then my swap buddy can send me the pages as well (unless it is a "bound" book). I will be sending just page protectors round so you can cut down on mailing costs

Your message went through but I still need you to fill out the database so we can mail to you and I can put you in the order of mailing. I gave instructions for it on the three things post. We can now use messages there for communication as well as here.

I have set up a tenative tracking list (order of albums) on the yahoo group. Please fill in the rest of your line on the chart as you can. I kept those in the same area together so you can hand off journals if you wish.
