Is it any good? I'm dairy-free but can have small amounts sporadically - does this have cheese on it?

TIA!

My DM ordered it when we went this past summer. She liked it bc she likes seafood & spicy things. She said that it wasn't super spicy, only a little.
Here's a pic, (doesn't look like there's any cheese):

I have never seen Cioppino offered with cheese. This is one of my most favorite dishes.

Thanks!

I've never had it, so I wasn't sure. If I try it tomorrow, I'll LYK what I think as a cioppino virgin!

I had it in December and don't remember any cheese. It was delicious though-the picture above from a PP makes it look like all large pieces of seafood and those were there-but there was also plenty of broth and small pieces of seafood under the bread. It was a very filling and delicious meal-yes, a bit spicy but the three of us that ordered it really liked it.

The bread has butter (of course) and maybe some cheese but I don't think so, the salad will have cheese as will one of the plates of other appetizers. Just an fyi. :)

We might eat there too on our next trip. I was wondering, what was the quality of the seafood like? TIA!

We've only had the Cioppino but it was very very good!! We have not tried the redfish.

Had it today! It was good, though because I didn't have any of the appetizers, bread, or dessert, I was still fairly hungry afterwards.

Guess it is a good thing Ariel doesn't come around to the tables.

Yes, it DOES look like mermaid food :rotfl:

Does anyone know what the thing in it is (in the picture,on the lower right side of the bowl), that looks like a cross between a carrot and an octopus arm? It looks...quite unappetizing. The rest of it looks yummy, though!

I havent eaten there, but typically cioppino has a piece of fish in it, could be a piece of redfish?!?! thats what it looks like to me anyway! :confused3

The dish is very light meant to be eaten with bread. Not like eating a bowl of beef stew.
