I'd love to see this show if it's happening while I'm there at the end of Feb (I'm not good at finding things on the app - lol). If it's running, where is a good place to watch it?

Anywhere in Central Park. That is the official viewing location, and it is set up for ideal viewing from anywhere in the area. You really can't see the show well from anywhere else.
