OK - please help resolve a bit of marital discussion.

My DH has fixated on the idea of taking my 2.5yo DD to CRT for breakfast during our vacation, however, I thought that she would probably do a little bit better with the characters and environment of Crystal Palace.

Anyone have experience with a toddler in CRT (she is a mature and very verbal toddler --hehe of course all mothers say that)? She knows Belle and Cindy and can be introduced to the other characters in the next few weeks.

I guess I am tempted to give into my DH -- I think he secretly wants to dine with the ladies, I just want to make sure that my 2yo will enjoy it.

Our daughter had just turned three when we took her. She flat loved it. You should do it, no question about it.

I took my dd when she was 2 and we did both crt for breakfast and CP, and she did alot better with CRT. The characters at CP scared her, while the princesses talked to her and have her hugs.

DD went to CRT and CP at 2 1/2. She LOVED CRT but was a little scared at CP for a while- she got into it though. But, she was adorable (yes- I'm her mother but she was! ;) ) at CRT. She knew Snow White and CIndrella and loved the others anyway. She ran to Cindy so hard when she came to our table she knocked her to her feet! Cindy sat in the floor with her and hugged and rubbed noses for at least 5 minutes- it was so priceless!!!! She wouldn't let go of Snow White- who dubbed her the eighth dwarf. It was magical! Go for it- she will love it and so will you!!! princess:

We took DD 2 to both and she was scared of the characters at CP but had a blast at CRT!!

I have a picture of my 2 year old nephew planting a big smooch on Cinderella. Your dd should love it, assuming you can get a PS.

I think you should try for CRT. Be sure to read the tips at the top of the restaurants section for getting PS to CRT. Your 2 yr. old will love CRT and you'll have pictures and memories to last a lifetime.

I would try for CRT or PSB - it seems the face characters( princesses) aren't as scary to the young ones as the full costumed characters.

We took DD at 22 months to CRT with her older sister. She enjoyed it even more than our 4 year old! Characters aren't big and scary but beautiful and sweet! :flower: By all means, go for it!!!!! :cheer2:

We did CRT with our 2.5 year old DD in December and she's still talking about having breakfast with the princesses at the castle. She is also very verbal for her age and this is the one meal that she continually talks about. She doesn't even mention the dinner we had at CP. I say go for it.

We took our younger DD when she had just turned 2 years old, she loved it.

Maybe introduce her to "face" characters before the breakfast. Our 2 year old DS didn't want anything to do with Peter Pan, Pocahontas, Cinderella (but loved Suzy & Perla) or Aladdin. Mickey, Pooh, Piglet, etc he loved, even Lilo and Pinocchio who sort of have a face.
