Can someone tell me if it's worth it to attend both CRT and the Princess Storybook Breakfast? What's the difference in characters besides Cindy not appearing at the PSB?

TIA

Unless you are completely enamored of the princesses, I think you really only need to do one. I have tried them both and prefer CRT. That is just my opinion. We saw basically the same princessed at both except for Mulan at PSB and of course Cinderella was at the castle only. I guess it would depend on your favorite princesses. Snow White, Jasmine, Belle, Aurora, and Mary Poppins were at both.

From my experience I would choose PSB over CRT if you want to see Princesses. You could do both though.

Our experience at CRT was a little disappointed because we barely had any princesses visit us (read my thread titled "our food experiences 12/11-12/15" to learn more)

When we went to PBS last June we had ALL princesses! We also did the Cinderella Supper at the Grand Florida last June where we met Cinderella & the Prince. Now that was a great meal & good interaction :)

I don't know if we will go back to CRT in June but I do plan on making a PS for the Princess Breakfast in Norway

On our trip (last week) we did both CRT and PSB and we liked CRT much better. The interaction with the characters were the same but the food and service was better at CRT.

There were a few things though - Belle was not in her yellow gown she was in her blue dress when all the other princess were dressed in their ball gowns. Mary Poppins - is she a princess? I don't think she is so I don't think she should have been there.

At CRT there was Cinderella, Belle, Snow White Aurora (in her pink Gown) and Mary Poppins. At PSB there was Aurora (in her blue gown), Jasmine and Mulan (I didn't think Mulan was a princess either).

Jacksonsmom - can you please let me know a little more about the Cinderella dinner at the Grand Floridian?!? I never heard about this dinner and I know DD (almost 4) would have loved this one.

Thanks,
Lisa

It is at the Grand Floridian at 1900 Park Fair. It is a buffet style supper. The characters there are Cinderella, Prince Charming & the two girl mice, Suzy & Perla. The Fairy Godmother was in the lobby.
I heard some people have gotten the two step sisters rather then the two mice.
We really loved the buffet. It is good interaction from all characters, the Fairy Godmother was a sweetie.

We plan on returning to this supper during our June trip. The food was very good too :)

RIDISNEYLOVERs- you saw Aurora in her pink gown? I've researched this b/c DD 4 really wanted to know on our last trip why we saw her 3 times in her blue gown. From what I understand, and I could be wrong here, it is rare to see her in her pink gown. So, if this is correct, consider yourself very lucky to have seen her in pink. My DD would have loved it!

I asked the "Aurora" at CRT if she ever wears her pink gown and she said that she does it for special occasions and she would definately be wearing it around X-mas time. So maybe that's why you saw her in pink.

Interesting about Aurora in her pink gown. We ate at CRT on 12/8 and PSB on 12/12 and she was in her pink gown both times. Maybe her pink gown is heavier than her blue one and she only wears it in cooler months?

I would definitely choose CRT over PSB. The food at PSB could have been used to patch pot-holes! The food at CRT was far from exceptional, but it was fine for what it was.

another vote for CRT. we have done both and enjoyed CRT much better. we saw aladdin at the breakfast. and aurora was in her pick dress.

Wow, this post has lots of votes for CRT! We are trying to decide between the two and thought we were going to go ahead with PSB based on the "rate it" reveiw thread/site. From what I read much depends on where you sit and how the room is worked. I guess I will try to get ressies at both and see how it works out but I am glad I read this thread because I wasn't going to even try for Cindy's...

We were there last week as well, and did CRT on Monday and PSB on Tuesday, I preferred the food at the CRT and they had Pocahantas (wow she was Beautiful),

It happened to be our Anniversary, our waitress brought disney sprinkles over, threw them in my wifes hair and gave us a Magical Moment certificate and a pair of "CRT wine glasses which I thought was awesome"

I also think the food is better at CRT than PSB, our waffles at PSB were like hockey pucks.

We saw Aurora in Pink at CRT and then Blue at PSB, we asked the rest. mgr. why the differenct in colors, she told us that "the blue one was cleaner than the pink one"

She also did something that I thought was neat, she checked Ashtons book for signatures ie Aurora, and asked us where we got her autograph, when Aurora approached Ashton, she told her that she remembered her from yesterday. :sunny:

Hulabaloo

Hulabaloo - Aurora also told my DD that she rememberred her from "yesterday". We went to CRT on Tuesday 12/9 and PSB on Tuesday 12/10. I couldn't believe that she remebered her after all the kids she interacts with - that was very impressive!!

Jacksonsmom - thanks for the information for the dinner with Cinderella and Prince Charming - I will definitely look into this for our upcoming trip in May!! Thanks again.

Thank you everyone, so much for all your help!! This will be my third trip, my dh's second trip and my son's first trip. He doesn't know yet and I just can't wait to tell him!! Anyone have any other recommendations on things to make sure we see or do? My son is nine so I want to make sure this is an awesome trip since it will be for both my wedding anniversary and his birthday!

Thanks again!
